What is East River Park Track Club?
East River Park Track Club is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit running club. The club's mission is to promote running and fitness, and to prepare it's members for running events through it's coaching and running program. The club also has a mission to be advocates of places where running is conducted.
How much does it cost to join the club?
$40 annualy. An annual membership is the calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Active members have until January 31 of the following year to pay their dues to remain members.
What do the membership dues pay for?
The annual dues go towards paying the Road Runners Club of America membership fees, insurance, coaching, promotional material, singlet purchases, advertising, club social events, Web hosting and whatever else is necessary.
When does the club meet for runs?
Currently on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Check the club's event calendar for updates.
How can I get coaching for an event or general fitness?
By completeing the coaching request form.
Does the club compete in the NYRR Club's Points Races?
Yes. Members are capable of earning awards from NYRR for their performances.
What is the RRCA?
Founded in 1958, the Road Runners Club of America is the oldest and largest national association of running clubs, running events, and runners dedicated to promoting running as a competitive sport and as healthy exercise. The RRCA’s mission is to represent and promote the common interests of its member clubs, events, and individual runners through education, leadership, programs and other services.
What should a member do if they are moving?
Notify the club and submit your new address.
